HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
There has been so much going on here in the Bergeron house.
Terry has been keeping us all busy! He got a wheel chair in November and a new gait trainer right before that. He got his very own TRICYCLE 4 days after Christmas and let me tell you there is no stopping him now! he is on the go all the time now! He just had X-rays done of his hips on December 27Th and we found out that Terry's hips are coming out of their sockets. We have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon on Wednesday the 18 of January. This worries me. He might have to have surgery on his little hips..my little man has been through so much will he ever get a break?? Terry is such a ray of sunshine and I know he can get through anything put in front of him..I remember when his Neurologist tried to tell us that Terry would not sit up, talk or walk.. well in your face!!! he is sitting up on his own and talking (more and more words everyday!) his walking is coming a long, but we now know that some of the problem might have been his hips. I look at him and am amazed every time... he truly is a miracle from above!! it makes you look back at the things going on in your life and realize that you really don't have it that bad! Terry is our little fighter! He never gives up! when we go bike riding.. well he is riding and I am walking behind him...he never wants to stop he just wants to keep going and going and going.. when we get any where near the house he petals faster and faster it really is funny! he would ride all day long if I would let him!!! he rides at least a mile every day that we are able to get out..weather permitting of course! I love to watch him play...he is a very good problem solver and it is neat to watch him figure things out! he still scoots around the house on his bottom unless he is on his little car.. which we had to buy him a new one a few months ago because he broke the back rest on his handy manny car... too funny!! He keeps the girls on their toes too... he is forever in their room when they are in there he wants to know what they are doing..he is a little busy body!! I will try to update the blog at least once or twice a week from now on! I know I have missed a lot I need to go back and read the older post to see what I have not mentioned yet...terry's wheel chair is really cool... the front wheels light up...too cool. he is getting really good at maneuvering it through the house and when we go out. he is not in it that much only every now and then and when we go out. He really is getting to big for a stroller now. he weighs 38 pounds right now! He is growing like a weed. some of the things he likes to do now: well he loves to ride his trike and loves to go on long walks..(him in the stroller) he loves to play with his cars and balls and loves being with his sisters....he loves going to school and he is in his second year of school and let me tell you if he don't go to school for what ever reason, he has a major cow!! and if we happen to drive by the school and we don't turn in he has an even bigger cow... he loves playing on his swing set in the back yard..he just loves being around people! I am working on a book... the book of Terry... there is so much to be told about him and i want people to know about Terry and trisomy 12p. so many people have never heard about it and I would like to share his store....well until next time!! :)

Well it has been a long time since I posted last. There have been a lot of changes. Terry is four years old now and doing great!! He is doing so many new things that it is hard to keep up. Today he got his wheel chair and he is loving that!! He is so independent now! He is in his second year of school and doing well there! As you can see by the picture Terry is loving life and all it has to offer him! He is still doing the horse therapy and he does PT twice a week, Once in school and once at the Children's hospital. I keep him very busy..well actually he keeps me very busy!! I know he will be walking soon...he is doing well with that too. He just has to figure out how to stand on his own and maintain his balance. He is such a joy! I love to just watch him and see how his mind works and watching him problem solve is one of the best things. He is really good at it!!! Terry has many friends and he touched the heart of every one that he meets!! I will do my best to blog more often but like I said things here are very busy and I really don't get a chance to sit down and do this... I think I need to just set a time every day to do this. There is so much to catch up on!!

MY ANGEL

There has been a lot going on here at the "Bergeron" hoouse. Terry is doing more and more every day. He is feeding himself on a regular basis and doing a great job at it. he is trying to be more independent and is surely on his way. His therapist are working with him on learning to crawl and I think before spring or at least the end of spring he will master it, he still has trouble trying to figure out where to put his left hand but I know my lil man he will figure that one out too. We are so proud of all that he is doing. He is still just as happy as he can be! Always smiling and ready to have a good time. I love to sit and watch him play. it is really interesting to me to see how he manipulates things in his world to get what he needs or wants. He is talking more and learning new words and sounds daily. If i have learned one thing from my son it is not to ever listen to what people say you can do and just do what you want to do. Terry's doctors have told us that there was so much he would NEVER DO...and guess what he has shown them not to label him...he is forever learning and always doing new things. some of the things he loves to do are: paint with sidewalk chalk paint on the driveway, color in his coloring books, he loves to see how things work and he like to try to take things apart to see how they work. he loves to be with his sisters and his daddy and me. But when his great grandmother comes over he tends to forget about us and plays with her! it is so cute to see them playing together!!!

EVER CHANGING

This picture was taken January 2010 just before we moved in to our new house. As you can see Terry has grown alot and he is doing so much now. In the last year he has learned to sit up on his own fjor long periods of time, he stands and walks with assistance. His vocabulary has grown quite a bit. He is currently trying to feed himself. We are so proud of all that he has learned to do. It is hard to remember everythig that he has done. He is in school now and he loves it!! He just loves to be in school and with other children that are close to his age. he learned how to finger paint (not that he didn't know how to do that before he started school) he knows how to hold and use a glue stick, paint with a paint brush... IF I WOULD HAVE LISTENED TO HIS NEUROLOGIST...sure glad I didn't look what my baby can do. He is 3 years old now and doing way more than his doctor thought or gave him credit to do...When I look at Terry I see no limitations I see a little boy that is goingto go far in this lifetime! He is still doing the horseback riding and doing well. He is now learning how to groom his horse and he loves to feed her the snack after his lesson. He is still the happy little boy he has always been maybe even a little more happier since he started school. I have to admit that I was afraid to send him to school at first. There was a fear of how he would adjust to being in school but when that bus picked him up the first day that was it he was hooked!!! I am going to try really hard to update his blog every week....atleast!!!

FOR TERRY

YOU WERE SENT FROM ABOVE

YOU WERE SENT HERE TO LOVE

YOU ARE MOMMY'S SHINING STAR

NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE

YOUR SMILES LIGHT UP THE DAYS

IN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS

EVERY DAY YOU SHINE BRIGHTER

BECAUSE YOU ARE OUR LITTLE FIGHTER

DOING SO MUCH

It has been a long time since my last post, but that is because Terry keeps me real busy, He will be 3 years old in 57 days and it seem like he is making up for "lost time" he is really making some good advances. he is using the gait trainer a lot more now and handling it well. His vocabulary is expanding every day. He is feeding himself more, though he wont hold finger foods in his hands yet, I think it is because he don't like how they feel. BABY FOOD: a thing of the past, he wants what we eat...can you blame him? Have you ever tasted baby food? YUCK!!!! He is learning how to get around in the house in his little blue rocking chair, it is the cutest thing in the world to watch him do. We are so proud of him and all that he is doing. He will be starting school in September, I am not sure how I feel about this at this point. I know it will be good for him, but it is the whole separation thing for me. I know it is only for a few hours 3 to 4 days a week, but I have not been away from him at all since he came home from the NICU. What will I do with the time???? Terry is learning how to ride his tricycle and doing well I might say! He still can not stand up by himself. but he will stand and play at the couch or at his table. The horse back riding is helping him strengthen the muscles he needs to be able to stand independently and I know he will get there one day. He is trying to crawl but gets angry when he can't get his left hand to do what he wants it to do. Terry has done some amazing things since he had his eye surgery in February...I still say that his vision problem is what held him back partly....

ADVANCING IN MY RIDING LESSONS

Well terry had his first Spring Session riding lesson today and has done very well. His daddy took him, which was a good thing because it gives them a chance to be together...just the two of them! I just got off the phone with David and he said Terry was doing some new and wonderful things..he is using stirrups now and he just started kicking off of them. which shows that he is beginning to bare weight more on his legs. He was much more aware of his surroundings and very opinionated today. Knew what he wanted and he was gonna get it!!!! just wanted to do a quick update of Terry's riding!!

It has been a long time...we have been so busy with the move and all. Terry is doing well! Getting stronger every day! Still just as happy as he always is! February was a bad month for our family....Terry's Great Grandmother was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and was in the hospital from 2/27/10 until 3/12/10. Grandma has been with us here beginning 3/12/10. Terry loves having a room mate!!! It is so cute sometimes to listen to them through the monitor talking to each other, or hearing grandma singing to him when he wakes up during the night. Terry has his corrective surgery on his eyes on 2/11/10... oh lord that was an experience! Yes, I cried when they took him from me to take him to the operating room...I do it every time!!!! He did well! We did have a hard time getting him to wake up and stay awake! But Terry never does any thing by the "book" he had to have elbow restraints on him arms for the first few days, and let me tell you he HATED them!!! his eyes look wonderful....not that they didn't before the surgery. So i guess the right way to phrase it is...Terry's eyes no longer cross! Dr. Lal-Trail thought there would have to be more surgeries, but I am VERY HAPPY TO REPORT THAT TERRY DOES NOT NEED ANY MORE SURGERIES ON HIS EYES!!!!! He will have to go back in to the hospital for10 days for a "anal repair" his booty "hole" is hanging out more than the doc would like it too, but we are not going to be able to do anything about that right now, there is other things going on, and the doc said we could wait on it as long as it is not causing problems for Terry, and it is not for the most part. Some times he has a little bleeding and that is from his little "berry" ( as we like to call it) rubbing on the diaper, so I keep his butt covered in desitin..... that way there is nothing rubbing on the diaper. Terry is doing so may new things now he is trying to walk holding on to the couch..."side walking" he is still not able to stand on his own but he is getting there. Terry is such an inspiration to me because no matter what he has gone through or will be going through he still finds a reason to smile and keep on going. he has had some bad days lately and with him having therapy 4 times a week, sometimes 2 therapies on the same day, he keeps going bad mood or not! I think us adults should take some lessons from our little guys with special needs or disabilities.....always find the good in a bad day and smile and keep on going!!!!

Wednesday, January 20, 2010

today was pretty uneventful, Terry has been playing all day, goodness where does he get the energy? I wish I had it right now! We are moving in 7 days and thereis still so much to do here! I need a time stretcher!!!! Terry did well in his therapy this morning, however he was not really in to the walking thing this morning, but I got him to do it later. He is really getting strong, and that is a good..no great thing! He will be walking before we know it! His doctors all say by the time he is four, but judging by what I see I say he will be walking before he is "3"!!! Wouldn't that be a great birthday present for both of us, because our birthdays are 9 days apart, mine is 9 days before his! Well with a little prayer and a lot of hard work on his part and mine we should be at the walking thing by July! One of the things that AMAZES me is his willingness to do things, even when he is tired he still does what he has too, most adults would just give up, but not my 'lil man, he just keeps on getting it! Nothing stops him, not even being sick! There are some days when I feel bad because I will be having a bad day, and I know there are things that I have to do with him but I am just not able too. Those days a few and far between, but I still feel bad when I can not do what needs to be done! He is gos gift to us, and we love him for who he is, even though people don't understand what we are all dealing with, most of all TERRY! I know people talk about him because he can not walk yet, and he don't talk too much but it don't bother us because TERRY IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY TO US AND THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS! Every one that knows him loves him and he loves anyone who just plays with him or smiles at him or just holds him. There are not too many people that are lucky enough to know Terry's love but those that do cherish it!!!!

ANOTHER DAY...MORE MILESTONES!

MY LITTLE MAN WALKED TODAY.... I am so proud of him! he did it with out his braces! He took about 12 steps! boy I know it was hard for him to do, but the whole time he was smiling from ear to ear! Hopefully before too long he will be doing this on his own without help from mommy or daddy! I am amazed by what he does every day! He works so hard for the things he can do! His sisters help him a lot! They make it seem like a game, and it gets him to do what he needs to and he enjoys what he is doing while he is doing it! Soon we will be in our new house and we are all excited about it, Terry is too I can see it in his eyes when we go to the house to do some work, he knows he has his own room there. Don't know how I will take it because he has been in our room since he came home from the hospital... well we will see! Off to new and better things.. our family that is!

Not a lot going on here...well except for moving, boy will that tire you out!!! Terry is doing well, still has bleeding from his bottom, but he goes to see the surgeon on Thursday, I have a feeling it will result in surgery...but if that is what it takes to get him better then so be it! Not like he has not been through it before! Terry had Occupational Therapy today and he did really well! He is starting to use his left hand more and more! I knew he would! Some days he uses it more than others, I still think that he will cone out of this left handed, wouldn't that be nice! Maybe one of my children will be a south paw like me!!!! He is getting to be suck a BIG BOY!!! his vocabulary is growing more and more every day! He is now taking steps, assisted, but step! He wears his DAFO's everyday, but in spaced out periods because if i were to leave them on all day he would just take them off after an hour or so! He is so smart!!! He is capable of taking steps without them, however it does sometimes hurt his ankles, but he will do it anyway!!!! Tomorrow he has Speech Therapy at 230 in the afternoon, and I know he will do well there too! not much more to say tonight, except :I thank god every day for Terry and I cherish everything he does! I know it is hard for him to do things so when he does them I just hug him and tell him "i knew you could do it baby!" So many people take everything for granted, not me! because even the small things are something big in my eyes!!!!

LITTLE BOY.....

Well Terry is doing so many new things these days! We are so proud of him! He is sitting up on his own more and more, he just loves to stand {even though he needs our help}, he is saying more, one of his favorite things to do is play with his sisters and our pets, in the photo, is Chester, a friend of Amanda's brought him over to see Terry and it took us forever to get Chester away from him! Terry is doing great in his horse back riding lessons he has gone from needing total support to only needing ankle support...in a matter of a few lessons, he is now able to feed "Lark" her treat after the lesson, next he will be working on grooming her. He just loves his time out at the ranch! He was out of session for a few weeks for the holiday break but boy was he glad to get back to it this last Friday! Our little boy is growing so fast, and making those memorable mile stones faster and faster! I always said he was going to prove all the doctors "WRONG" and by god he is! Terry is having eye surgery in just under a month and I am worried about it because there is an increased risk of bleeding, But the doctor said that there is nothing to worry about, ha, easy for him to say, it is not his son going under the knife!!!!! Terry has been through so much I only hope he will do fine with this surgery! He is a STRONG little guy! I can't believe he will be turning 3 in just 6 months and 1 week, gosh where did the time go??? Seems like just yesterday he was in the NICU at Childrens hospital and having the first of many surgeries, now he is almost 3, colostomy free and making great progress! I am amazed at the pace he is doing things now! but I know he still has a lot up his sleeve!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
So things are off to a good start! Terry is doing some wonderful things! I know it has been a long time since I posted last but we have been busy, busy, busy. Terry is still doing therapy 4 times a week. He is doing so many new things like: standing unassisted, standing with our help, he is used to his gait trainer now. He is trying to talk more now. He is doing something new every day! He is just an AWESOME little boy! he is going to prove all the doctors wrong, which we knew he would! He has a wonderful attitude, he is just as happy as he can be! He was sick over the holidays, but you would have never know! he smiled all the time! There are really no words to describe how Terry makes me feel. There are no word good enough to explain it. I just can say that I am a blessed person, because I am here with Terry and I get to see all of his "firsts" and it is an amazing feeling! We have had a bit of a set back though, Terry has been seeing an eye doctor since he was very young, and this eye doctor told us terry needed eye surgery on his left eye to align it, she said we could wait until he was about 5 or so... well I went for a second opinion because being a nurse I just felt there was something not right, so we went for the appointment, and the first thing this doctor said was "wow he is big for 18 months" I said he is 29 months old, why? that's when he told me terry should have had the surgery done before he was 18 months..."WHAT" I told him what theother doc said and he was quite disturbed by this. He also told me that if terry would have had it done, there is a possibility he would be walking by now! I was so upset by this I left the office in tears, a surgery that only involved his left eye now involves both, and it would have only been one surgery, but now it could take anywhere from 3 to 5 different surgeries on both eyes. But I can't dwell on the fact that the other doc told us wrong, i have to focus on getting him taken care of so he is going to have the first surgery done on Feb. 11, 2010. So please say a prayer for our little guy that everything goes well! I will write again soon!

MAKING WONDERFUL PROGRESS!!! GO TERRY!!!

Terry had riding therapy on Friday, and he did great! He really did not need much support! I am so proud of him for how he is doing! He has not been doing this long, but he is really showing great improvement already! It is AMAZING TO SEE HOW THIS IS REALLY HELPING HIM! Terry is advancing do fast I can hardly keep up with everything new he is doing. This is one determined little boy and I believe he is not going to let anything stand in his way! To watch him do things with suck persistence gives the the strength to do things too. Terry is such an inspiration in a lot of ways. I only hope that he keeps it all up! I know he has to get tired of doing therapy all the time, but I know that it is good for him...and I think he know too. Some days he is just not in to it, but we all have our off days! why shouldn't he be allowed to have an off day too! For the most part he is ready to work when his therapist comes in to the home! Unless he is really tired or just didn't sleep well the night before! Well Terry mommy is proud of you and i know you can do it baby!!!!!!!!!!! The big dog you see... well he is the resident dog out at the ranch and he just loves terry, this dog is so big that Terry could ride him like a horse!!!!! (NO KIDDING)

VIRGINIA BEACH 2009

This picture was taken at the beach, it was so windy but Terry did not care. All he wanted to do was play in the sand... he had such a good time. He got so upset when we had to leave! Terry loves to play out side! He is so fun to just watch. We spent the week at the beach in September and the entire time we were there he was so good! but then he always is! He is always such a happy little one! Sometimes i wonder how can he be so happy given all that he has gone through? I know why now, because he is so very loved by everyone! as long as he is happy i am happy too. terry has an ear infection right now and is not feeling the best but he is still smiling for the most part, unless the pain get to be too much for him, which it has here in the past few days. I hope the meds will work for him soon. he has been on an antibiotic since last week. But I am thinking that they are going to have to give me a drop for his ears. He has really small ear canals and this makes his ear infections harder to treat, sometimes his little ears canals will swell almost completely closed... that's when i know the infection is a bad one! this one has not been like that. I am so careful in paying attention to his actions and keeping an eye out for something not being right, and so far i have been right on target to what was going on with him. Sometimes I wish I was not a nurse, I see more that the average person does, and that can be a bad thing. I know it terrified me when Terry was born and in the NICU, I would catch things before his nurses did, and sometimes that really got to me. Sometimes it is hard to separate your self from your profession and just be a mommy..... But then maybe this is why I chose to be a nurse, everyone says things happen for a reason. Terry doctors always tell me that Terry couldn't have chose a better mom. that makes me feel good! I do the best I can, and sometimes i doubt my judgement, but i am usually right so i need to learn to go with my gut feeling and not doubt myself! I don't think there is anyone else that knows terry like i do!! I have taken terry back to the NICU to see the nurses and they can not believe how big he is and how far he has come since he was there... not that he was ever really small. he started out rather large at over 8 pounds!

MY BIG BOY!

So Terry is doing great! He is making so many milestones... not really your typical ones but they are milestones nonetheless! I am so proud of the things he is doing, and he does new things everyday! I have seen major changes since he has started the riding therapy! I am just blown away at the results we are seeing already! Sometimes it can get overwhelming, but I just have to tell myself that there is no stopping this lil guy and there is so much more he is gonna do even if it takes him longer to get to where he is supposed to be... well that is OK because we have plenty of time! He had adapted his own way of getting around on the floor... we call it "the side winding maneuver" and he is a pro at it! One minute he is by the TV and the next he is by the window, and he is fast at it too! I have to admit he has had a hard time getting to where he is but he keeps on going and he is always happy! I know he has to get tired of all the therapies but he just keeps going! Sometimes I wish I had his will because his is the strongest of anyone I know. He has taught me a lot in his short time here. We all have a different view on a lot of things! It can get aggravating when you hear people talking when you walk by and you are carrying terry, and people say.. that boy should be walking...yes he should be but he's not, but he will be soon! (in his own time) sometimes I feel like just telling them to mind their own business! I just smile and keep on getting it! I really do not care what people think, all I care about is making sure our son has what he needs! I would move mountains to get him what he needs... sometimes I think I have moved mountains for him just to get the simple things he needs. But you will do what ever it takes for your kids no matter what! When I get down or discouraged I just look at him and think of all he has been through, and I feel better! Terry has his gait trainer now and is working on getting used to it, but before he can learn to walk in it he has to build the strength in his legs and hip area... which is where the horse riding comes in!

FALL IS HERE!

Well here we are! The first part of October, and Terry is doing great! He is making leaps and bounds. He does something new and exciting every day! I am telling you he is a truly amazing child! He just got his gait trainer about a week ago, he is really not sure what to think of it yet, but he does get in it and at least try. I know this is not an overnight thing and it is going to take him time to figure out what it is and what it is for, but he WILL GET IT! Terry is a determined little guy and believe me his is going to prove a lot of people wrong.... yes there are some people out there that say he wont be able to do this, he wont be able to do that... but are we going to listen to them?? NO WE ARE NOT! NO ONE CAN WILL LABEL HIM! Sad thing is that there are so many people out there that like to open their mouth and they have no idea what they are opening their mouth about. This really gets to me! Yes Terry has a ways to go but he is on his way! He goes through a lot too and I really do not think people really know what he does in a week, so let me give you a glimpse of one of our weeks: Monday: Occupational Therapy at 10:30 in the morning, then there are things i have to d0 with him throughout the day that is also therapy related, Tuesday: Speech Therapy at 2:00 in the afternoon, then we have other therapy related things we have to do during the day, Wednesday: Psychical Therapy at 10:00 in the morning, Riding therapy in the afternoon, and other therapy things during the day,Thursday: he has no scheduled therapy, but we still have to do many therapy things to meet his weekly goals, Friday: no scheduled therapies but we still have things to do, and very often we have doctors appointments we have to squeeze in there too. and not to mention getting him in his gait trainer, and his stander so he can build muscle tone in his legs to be able to walk. So you see there is a lot involved in Terry's life but he does it, and does it all with a BIG SMILE! :O) ! Maybe if people could see what it is Terry has to go through every day maybe they wouldn't complain about silly little things! So many people take the simplest things for granted...like walking, or feeding themselves... If Terry has taught me one thing it is not to take ANYTHING FOR GRANTED! I hope to have new pictures of Terry to post real soon, but as you can see we are very busy here and it is hard to find the time to just sit down and update things. I will do it soon!!!!!

RIDING THERAPY...DREAMCATCHERS RANCH

Well I know it has been a while since I last posted.....Things are going well for Terry . He started his riding therapy last week (9/9/09) and he really loves the horses and all the people out at DREAMCATCHERS RANCH he just loves the horses, and they love him too. I really think this is going to help him a lot!

MY BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!!!!

Well Terry's birthday party was a hit! He had a ball! He was so excited by everyone being here and all the stuff he got! Should have seen his little face light up! It was wonderful just to watch him. He had a lot of fun opening his presents, but I think he liked the cards more. The cake...well that was trip to watch, as soon as we put the cars cake in front of him he went for it! It was so cute. He was so tired by the time it was all over that he was starting to get grumpy...no wonder right. We gave him his bath and tried to get him settled for bed, but he was just so excited that it took him a while to fall asleep but once he did he was out cold. Nothing could wake him up right now! I went in to check on him and he didn't even move and normally he will move when you open the door, but not tonight. I can not believe he is already 2 years old and he has over come some really big things in his first 2 years of life, when you sit back and look at it you wonder how he did it and managed to still smile, but he does! He smiles all the time! Terry is suck an inspiration to me and a lot of people! Some people can not believe he is as happy as he is given all he has been through! People should learn from children who go through a lot just to lice. You always hear complaining about how hard life is... well have you ever thought how hard life would be if you couldn't walk on you own? or how hard it would be for you if you couldn't use your left are? No you probably have not... well my son can't walk yet or use his left arm very well but you will not hear him complain, he just makes it work and keeps on getting it! I thing you should be thankful for what you have and things you can do and every once in a while think about a child that can not walk or can not use their arm(s). Try to imagine life without walking...and just be thankful you can because in a flash your ability to walk could be gone.. Terry is an amazing child who has beat a lot of odds! I am thankful for what he can do and what he has and as long as he is happy we are happy, and I really do not worry about things he can not do right now because I know he will one day! It might take some time, but we have all the time he needs!

I AM TURNING 2 TOMORROW...WAY TO GROW

Well this is it! My little guy is turning 2 tomorrow. He is not a baby anymore! Well he will always be my baby! He has been through so much and he is doing so well! He is doing great with his AFO's and he has been getting good at standing up. We are working on strengthening his legs so when he gets his gait trainer next month he will be ready to go! I know there will be no stopping him once he gets going. Oh what I wouldn't do to see him walk across the floor! He is getting around pretty good on his own when he is on the floor. We call him our lil "side winder" because he looks like a sidewinder snake when he scoots across the floor it is really cute to watch. It really goes back to all the doctors tell you when they say "your child will develop his own way of moving around and communicating" and boy has he! Terry is suck a special little guy and he brings happiness to everyone he meets and he loves whole heartedly. He always has a smile on his face and a hug to give to anyone who wants one! We are so happy he is turning 2 tomorrow, but I can't help but wonder where did all the time go? Has it really been 2 years... yes it has! And I know where all the time went it went to many many doctor appointments, 3 hospitalizations, 3 surgeries and many therapy appointments, but terry is doing well and has gained a lot from all we have to do! Through it all he still manages to smile! He really is an AWESOME KID! soon I will be posting pictures of his adventure to "DREAMCATCHERS RANCH" in Toano Virginia. He really loved being around all the horses and he already has a favorite...tatertot! it was really neat to watch him interact with the horses and see how gentle the horses were with him and how gentle he was with the horses! So COMING SOON: PICTURES OF TERRY AT THE RANCH. So please check back in a few days to See them.
